How It Works

The product operates through a dual-action mechanism. (Z)-9-Tricosene acts as a long-range attractant, mimicking the natural pheromone released by female house flies to lure both male and female flies to treated surfaces. Once attracted, flies ingest or come into contact with thiamethoxam, which disrupts nerve signal transmission by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs), leading to rapid paralysis and death. This combination of contact and stomach modes of action ensures that flies feeding on or simply walking across treated areas receive a lethal dose.
